What is a warehouse management system (WMS)?

A warehouse management system (WMS) records every stock move — goods-in, put-away, pick, pack, transfer and count — in one ledger, with batch and expiry enforced at receipt and pick. RouteMagic is cloud-based warehouse management software that runs the whole flow on one offline-capable app and syncs to your accounts package.

Can a small business run a WMS, or is it only for large warehouses?

Yes — RouteMagic suits a single-site distributor as readily as a multi-warehouse operation. Pricing is per user from £29 a month, so a small business pays for the seats it needs and adds bins, sites and entities as it grows, on the same platform.

Is this warehouse stock management software, or full WMS operations?

Both. RouteMagic is warehouse stock management software — bin-level stock, cycle counts and batch traceability — and the operational WMS around it: scanned goods-in, route-grouped picks, packing, loading and transfers. For pure stock valuation and accounting-led control, the same ledger feeds inventory management software.

Can the warehouse app run without signal?

Yes — the app caches inventory and batch data on-device, lets receivers and pickers work offline, and syncs when connectivity returns. Transactions sign locally with no conflicts.

Can we run blind counts on a busy warehouse?

Yes — blind counts are batch-aware and reason-coded. Cycle counts by location are also supported and don’t require a full shutdown.

What happens when a batch is recalled?

The system surfaces every customer who received units from that batch — across deliveries, returns and consignment — within minutes. Auditor export is one click.

What barcode hardware do you support?

Most rugged Android scanners and standard Bluetooth barcode hardware. We can confirm certified models for your country and use case.

Which accounts package do you integrate with?

Native two-way sync with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage 50, Sage 200, Tally, Zoho Books and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Custom: anything with a REST API.

Do you support multi-entity setups?
