What is franchise management software?

Is RouteMagic a franchise CRM or a franchise accounting system?

Neither — it is the operations and supply platform that sits between them. Your franchise CRM owns lead-to-signing and your accounting package owns the ledger; RouteMagic runs the network catalogue, ordering, fulfilment and royalties in the middle, and syncs both ways to the accounting software you already use.

We run owned multi-store retail, not a franchised network — is this still for us?

This page is built for franchisors running independent franchisee tenants. If you run a single-owner multi-store chain, the same engine fits without the per-franchisee isolation — start with order management and reporting and analytics instead.

How is a franchisee’s data isolated from others?

Every query is role-scoped to the franchisee’s data set. Customers, products, orders, routes, inventory and invoices are invisible across franchisees. The master tenant retains aggregate oversight only — it sees network totals and per-franchisee KPIs, not customer-level data.

Can a franchisee override central pricing?

Configurable per network policy. Some networks allow local overrides within bounds; others enforce strict central pricing. Margin floors and override approvals are supported either way.

How do franchisees order from the franchisor warehouse?

Through the franchisee ordering portal — central catalogue, standing-order schedule, forward orders for events. Orders route into the master OMS pipeline for credit check, pick, pack, deliver and ePOD.

Is each franchisee really a separate tenant?

Yes — independent tenant databases per franchisee, with role-scoped queries enforcing isolation. The master tenant has aggregate cross-franchise visibility; no franchisee sees another’s data.

Does the royalty engine handle our specific contract terms?
