Please note that all the information you provide to RouteMagic will be stored and processed in the United Kingdom and Ireland. We do not sell, trade, lease, loan, or rent any personal information to outside organisations or individuals, unless we have requested and received your consent to share information, or when we have to share information for a product or service you have requested, or we are required by law to disclose details in the form of court orders or legal processes.

Business Contact Data and Direct Marketing

We contact people at businesses we believe RouteMagic is relevant to, using business contact details: usually a work email address, a job title, a company name and sometimes a work telephone number or a public professional profile. We obtain these from publicly available sources such as company websites and professional networks, and from specialist business data providers.

Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR: promoting our software to organisations whose work it relates to. We have assessed that interest against your rights, and we limit this processing to work contact details, to people whose role covers the activity our software supports, and to low volumes. We do not use this basis for consumer or personal contact details. A record of that assessment is available on request.

You can object at any time. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from all of our outreach permanently, not only the message you received. You can also email sales@routemagic.co.uk and we will do the same.

You may ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. We will respond within 30 days. We keep business contact data only while it stays accurate and relevant, and where you have objected we erase the record apart from the minimum needed to ensure we do not contact you again.
