What it does

Everything a driver does, on one screen.

Everything the driver touches writes straight back to the same route plan, van stock, and customer ledger the office works from.

Start of Day & Vehicle Inspection

Log in (with MFA if enabled), download the day’s route, orders, customers, prices and promotions in one go, read dispatch messages, and complete the vehicle inspection checklist with photos before the wheels move.

Van Loading & Stock

Confirm pre-configured load orders or build a manual load on the fly, scanning barcodes with the camera or counting by hand. Van stock updates instantly, with blind stock takes, van-to-van transfers, and end-of-day unload.

Navigation & Route List

Work the day’s stops in sequence, tap Route to Customer to hand off to the driver’s preferred maps app for turn-by-turn directions, and re-sequence the remaining stops on the device when the plan changes.

Wholesale Delivery

Open each pre-ordered stop on the Service Customer screen, confirm or adjust line quantities for partial deliveries, record refused items and returns, and apply discounts and promotions against batch and catch-weight rules.

Van Sales & Returns

Sell straight off the van — pick from the customer’s default list, search, scan, or browse the catalogue, with live on-van quantities, promotions, and discounts — then raise an invoice on the spot. Capture returns and forward orders in the same visit.

Proof of Delivery & Photos

Capture the customer’s signature on the device, take doorstep, stock, or damage photos, and add delivery notes. With ePOD on, the signed POD PDF can email to the customer automatically the moment the drop completes.

Payment Collection & Printing

Take cash, cheque, or card against the invoice on the doorstep, with Stripe and Razorpay for digital payments, and print receipts, invoices, and delivery dockets to a Bluetooth thermal printer.

End of Day & Reconciliation

Complete the route, clear any mandatory EOD enforcements, review the End of Day reports, count and submit the cash deposit, and reconcile takings against what the system recorded — all before handing the device back.

A round, end-to-end

From login to cash deposit, in one offline-first flow.

Every round follows the same path through the app. Here’s how a delivery day runs on the device — open any step for the full screen detail.

  1. 01

Log in & start the day

Sign in, pull the round, and clear the vehicle check.

Drivers sign in with their credentials and optional MFA, and the handheld profile assigned to them decides which screens and actions appear — discount limits, Van Sales, consignment and more. Route download pulls the full working set in one pass — route, orders, customers, products, prices, promotions, safety profile and settings — so the rest of the day runs offline. Dispatch messages and special instructions surface on the home screen, and the vehicle inspection checklist captures answers, photos and a signature before departure; failed or warning items raise alerts back at the office once the device syncs.

  2. 02

    Load the van

Scan the manifest aboard, flagging any shortfall.

Load orders prepared in the back office appear for confirmation, or the driver builds a manual load order on the fly. Each line is verified by camera barcode scan — matching the item and incrementing the confirmed quantity — or by manual count, with discrepancies flagged for the warehouse. Van stock on the device reflects the load immediately and reduces as deliveries and van sales go out, and the stock screens also cover blind stock takes, van-to-van transfers, field purchasing from suppliers, and unloading remaining stock back to the warehouse at end of day.

  3. 03

    Drive to the stop

Tap through to turn-by-turn nav, re-sequencing on the fly.

The route list shows the day’s stops in planned sequence with the orders, value and estimated time for each. Route to Customer hands the destination to whichever navigation app the driver prefers — the choice can be remembered — and turn-by-turn directions open there before returning to RouteMagic to start the visit. When plans change, Route Optimization on App lets the driver re-sequence the remaining stops on the device.

  4. 04

    Service the customer

Deliver, sell, return, and reorder in one screen.

Every customer interaction flows through one tabbed Service Customer screen — Wholesale Delivery, Van Sales, Forward Orders and Returns — plus messages, customer history, map, prospecting and a Site Visit Summary that closes the visit. On a wholesale delivery the driver works the order line by line: confirm items, adjust for a partial delivery, record refusals and returns, with discounts, promotions, batch traceability and catch-weight all applied. Van Sales turns the driver into a mobile salesperson — add items from the customer’s default list, search, scan or browse the catalogue, then confirm to raise an invoice on the spot — while Forward Orders capture future-dated orders and Prospecting logs potential new customers in the field. Everything writes locally first and syncs back as a site visit and invoice when connectivity returns.

  5. 05

    Capture proof of delivery

Signature, photos, and a POD that emails itself.

At completion the app prompts for quantity confirmation, the customer’s signature and one or more photos — doorstep, stock or damage — plus any notes. With ePOD enabled in the handheld profile, signature and photo capture become mandatory and the signed POD PDF can email to the customer automatically on completion. For temperature-sensitive loads, Temperature Monitoring records readings from a Bluetooth probe against the stop, all captured offline and synced when signal returns.

  6. 06

    Collect payment & print

Cash, card, or digital — then print the receipt.

The driver collects payment against the invoice by cash, cheque or credit card — with Stripe and Razorpay available for digital payment — and prints receipts, invoices, delivery dockets and EOD summaries to an ESC/POS Bluetooth thermal printer.

  7. 07

    Complete the route & reconcile

Close the round; takings reconcile before hand-back.

At the depot the driver completes the route, clears any mandatory EOD enforcements, reviews the End of Day reports and submits the cash deposit so takings reconcile against the system — feeding the back-office Driver Deposits and Daily Activity reports. The whole round is offline-first: every transaction is written to the device and queued, then a background sync pushes it to the office with conflict resolution and no data loss. Where targets are set, drivers also see their progress, rankings and achievements on the Gamification Dashboard.
